The League
The Alder Valley League will combine boys & girls events into a single meeting for 2023.
There is scoring competition for the U13, U15 and U17 age groups with each club permitted to field two scorers (“A”and “B”) per event.
The Alder Valley is a ‘development’ league which means it allows athletes to compete as ‘non-scorers’ – more details to follow.
This offers all club athletes the perfect opportunity to gain track and field experience or set a time or distance.
The league is made up of 9 clubs who compete over 3-4 fixtures.
Under 11s
Not likely to be included for 2023. Details to follow.
Competing
Teams have to be submitted to the host club prior to each fixture, so team mangers usually e-mail all athletes (parents) a week or two beforehand to arrange the teams. If you wish to be included in these messages please ensure you contact the appropriate team manager to be added to their distribution list.
