Running in the Trial Race at Manchester, Ben Pattison in his second ever race indoors finished 2nd behind experienced International Guy Learmonth, Ben’s time was 1 min 50.02 sec.
Although billed as a Trial Race for the Europeans in Poland in March, there were many of our top 800 m runners missing resting on times and positions recorded at World Athletics events around the World including a British record by Elliot Giles. With this in mind, Ben is unlikely to be selected but he has gained invaluable experience at the art of running indoors.
