What a fantastic night at Down Grange on Monday 17th June, our men’s team won and our women’s team finished third. There were some fantastic performances from both teams and the support and team spirit was superb.
For the men this was a monumental achievement as the Southampton team had won their previous 23 consecutive matches, dating back to 2013 but on the night it was the turn of BMHAC, winning the match by 9.5 points.
The ladies bounced back to place 3rd, with plenty of our athletes competing in the league for the first time and taking on events they were unfamiliar with.
Well done and thank you to everyone who took part plus the club officials, athletes, volunteers and supporters, a fantastic night to be a member of BMHAC.
