Bad news everyone, although entries were due to open tomorrow we have been advised as follows:
ALDERSHOT AND WINCHESTER FIXTURES CANCELLED
The landowner has today withdrawn permission to use the course at Aldershot, over concerns with the current pandemic situation. The League Committee has therefore regretfully taken the decision to cancel the 7 November fixture, as it would likely be impossible to rearrange at such short notice, especially in the current climate.
For the same reason, the owners of the venue for Winchester & District AC’s meeting that was scheduled for Saturday 5 December have just withdrawn its availability indefinitely.
The club regret therefore that this meeting has also had to be cancelled.
Fingers crossed that some XC races will go ahead this winter.
