Congratulations to Jasmin Poulter, U15G who was our Female Athlete of the Match at our 3rd Wessex League match in Oxford last Sunday. Jasmin competed in 3 events, pus the relay. She came 2nd in the 75mh A string, won the A string HJ with a PB of 1.52m and won the B string LJ. She was also a member of the winning U15G relay team. Whilst there were other great performances and athletes who competed in the maximum 3 events, plus relay, Jasmin was singled out for her massive 7cm PB in the HJ. Congratulations also to Milo McDermott, U13B, who is the winner of the Male Athlete of the Match. This was Milo’s first track and field competition, having previously only competed at cross country. Milo won the B string 800m and having nervously agreed to compete in the HJ, put in a great effort to clear 1.30m. Well done to both Jasmine and Milo.
