Southern Cross Country League
Every year we take part in the Southern Cross Country League (formerly known as the Today’s Runner Winter League) which is a great cross country series with runners from 23 clubs in Hampshire. This is a very friendly series suitable for runners of all abilities.
There are some 300+ runners at each race and a team comprises 5 men and 3 women.
BMH were the overall winners for the past 4 years and in 2010/11. The official site can be found here.

The 2015-16 season ended at Haslemere, with Basingstoke completing the season as Southern Cross Country League Champions. Both the ladies and men came in second place to a very strong Haslemere team who came first in both. That was enough for Basingstoke to take the series and the trophy by one point! That’s our 4th year in a row, but Haslemere are going to be close on our tails this winter!
