In the first instance, please email Liz Flitcroft who will contact you when we are able to offer your child a place.
Please include your child’s name and date of birth when e-mailing.
Please do check here often as we will place any information on his page if any training sessions are going to be cancelled.

Training Sessions And Advice
Training session for new starters is Tuesdays 5-6pm, with progression to the main club training times when appropriate.
Meet at the main car park end of the track. The cost is £2 per session until full membership is taken up
Main Club training sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
If you come to training without at least two (preferably three) layers, we will send you home.
From the start of September it can be cold and it will be dark so you must have layers you can remove and put back on easily.
In addition, your child should always bring a drink (preferably water).
At all times your child should have layers of clothes on that they can take off as they warm up during a training session. In particular, long trousers over shorts and long sleeve top over t-shirt, jackets or sweatshirts.
Trainers with laces are better than slip-on trainers.
Competing For BMHAC
We want our athletes to compete for the club and we are in 2 track and field leagues in the summer:

- The Alder Valley League (age 9 and over) – boys details here & girls details here
In the winter we take part in the Destination Basingstoke Junior Cross Country league – School year 3 to Year 9 inclusive.
There are also open competitions run by our own club and others athletic clubs and information will be here on how to enter yourselves.

We also have our Junior Club Championships in September and all juniors are encouraged to take part.
