Under 11s

Due to the high level of interest in this group we are not able to take any more children. A waiting list is being managed.
In the first instance, please email Liz Flitcroft who will contact you when we are able to offer your child a place. Please include your child’s name and date of birth when you e-mail.
An alternative e-mail address for any questions regarding our Under 11s group, then please contact under11s@bmhac.co.uk

Please check on here frequently for details of changed or cancelled training sessions.

Training Sessions And Advice

Main Club training sessions are every Tuesday or Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. We have also started a Sunday morning session at 10am.

The cost is £2 per session until full membership is taken up, although we now take payments in blocks of £10 (5 sessions) to ease processing/banking.

If you come to training without at least two (preferably three) layers, we will send you home.
From the start of September it can be cold and it will be dark so you must have layers you can remove and put back on easily.

In addition, your child should always bring a drink (preferably water), and please try to ensure they have been to the toilet before arriving at training.
At all times your child should have layers of clothes on that they can take off as they warm up during a training session. In particular, long trousers over shorts and long sleeve top over t-shirt, jackets or sweatshirts.

Trainers with laces are better than slip-on trainers.

We want our athletes to compete for the club and we compete in a regional track and field league,

In the winter we take part in the  Junior Cross Country league – School year 3 to Year 9 inclusive.

There are also open competitions run by our own club and other athletic clubs, please look out for information on facebook or the club’s website.

We also have our Junior Club Championships in September and all juniors are encouraged to take part.
