Trail marathon, half marathon and 10k through Hampshire’s most beautiful footpaths.
The Hampshire Hoppit consists of three trail races: a marathon, a half marathon, and a 10k. Starting and finishing at the top of White Hill, near Kingsclere (between Newbury and Basingstoke), the event follows Hampshire’s most beautiful long distance foot paths, including the Wayfarers Walk and the Hangar Way.
First run in 2016, the event attracts approximately 1000 runners of all abilities. It is licensed by the Trail Running Association (TRA) and run under UK Athletics Rules for Competition, and has won eight consecutive Racecheck Gold Awards (2018–2026).

Minimum age on race day: 18 for the marathon, 17 for the half marathon, 16 for the 10K.
Every finisher receives a commemorative medal, an engraved Hoppit glass with a free real ale or soft drink, free professional race photos and a goody bag.

Deferrals are accepted up to 4 May 2027. Entries can be transferred to another runner free of charge right up to race day.
